The Site has been great! It's true, we have not had the kind of participation that we would have liked to; still, it has served a very useful purpose. The fact that it's there, such that one can participate, is in itself, sufficient reason for it to continue.

My hope is, that in the future, it will continue doing the job that it has so successfully done in the past. The request here is for more of us will take advantage of it's usefulness.

I still believe that with the Site, there is not a better vehicle for us to communicate. The Game that we are trying to promote begs for communications from its adherents. Consequently, we must take advantage of this great opportunity.

My request to you, charter, whatever the response is, continue your great work on the Site. And have a very Merry Xmas!

Hello Jake
I have never been able or computer literate enough to get on the bulletin board but I have and still do visit your site a great number of times and have found it to be entertaining and informative.
So it is with these thoughts in mind that I thank you for a job well done and ask you to continue with the great and valuable work that you are doing there.
I have come to realize that many people fail to show gratitude where they should but I believe that the site is appreciated more than we know.
I also think that it may not get the visits that it should because a great number of people (pool checker players) are not computer literate enough to even go online, let alone go to a particular site.

"wHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE SITE?"

I must echo some of the nice comments that have already been made about the site, I think and have thought since the first day I saw enough about the site to understand what it was all about, it to be a "Master-piece". Many of the players have not taken advantage of the greatness the site offers. The site has the potential to be one of the greatest sites on the internet. It can only reach that potential if we make the necessary complys; post much needed information about events going on or coming events in your area. Communications is what this site is all about. Communications is a "Powerful" tool.

WHAT DID YOU LIKE ABOUT IT?

I like the fact that although you (Jake) are the owner and manager, your attitude seems to be this is our site and you are here only to assist us. That takes a "Big Person" to create something so beautiful and unique just to give it away to humanity. Jake acts only as a manager, not to be the "Big Boss" but to humbly assist, to help in any way possible. Jake (charter) is there to help us to better understand the "Mechanics" of the site. Many of us may have limited knowledge (illiterate) about the mechanics/functions of the site, but Jake is there to help with this illiteracy. Just let him know where you are weak, and where you need assistance, "dont be shy". So don't use "illiteracy" as an excuse, just as you sent that e-mail to comment on the site, you can ask for help the same way.

WHAT WOULD I LIKE TO SEE NEXT YEAR?

I would like to see some of the problems mentioned above "rectified". I would like to see more participation on the part of the "Pool Checker Players". This is a chance for you to learn something about checkers as well as the site. Many extremely difficult pool checker problems are posted and many are viewed but no attemp to solve them is offered. I would like to see attempts to solve them even if it is not correct. So what if you don't complete it or get it exactly right. It's no big thang, the "Big Thang" is you tried. I would like to see more of that, don't be too proud to do your part, besides what do you have to be so proud of? (Smile)

I can't thank you enough Jake for such a great job well done, please continue the great works for the sake of the many of us who have shown appreciation and encouragement. I also like the simplicity of the site, that enhances its greatness, with just a little effort, anyone can operate and enjoy the functions of the site. In closing, a big "CONGRATULATIONS" Jake.

That's the "HOPE" and "OBSERVATION" of this writer, now give us yours.
